Double and Twin Bedroom
The cottage has 2 bedrooms - a double bedroom on the ground floor, a twin bedroom upstairs and a fold down bed. Best suits a family or a group of friends up to 5 persons.
Spacious Kitchen
A large dining kitchen with a professional quality range cooker, fridge freezer, coffee machine and dishwasher along with a cozy seating area with a log burning stove. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Lounge with window seat
Comfortable main lounge with a terrific window seat at a large bay window with gorgeous views of Loch Lomond National Park. Sat TV and DVD player.
Two Bathrooms
There are 2 bathrooms. One with a luxurious freestanding bath upstairs and one with a rain shower on the ground floor.
The Location
We are within Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park which offers a huge selection of outdoor activities for all ages. There are some lovely walks close by and Duncryne Hill is very popular.
We are around 1/2 a mile from the village of Gartocharn and 3 miles from Balloch at Loch Lomond. There is a well stocked village shop, a popular restaurant and gift shop and a weekly farmers market. The village of Balmaha is within 15 minutes where you can take a boat trip on Loch Lomond, climb the Conic Hill and walk the popular Scottish long distance trek West Highland Way.

Wonderfully updated cottage. The experience was very relaxing and peaceful while at the same time the location is close enough to activities and dining. Hosts are very quick to respond to requests while also giving you plenty of privacy. This was a perfect base for exploring nearby Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle, regional villages, and less than an hour from Glasgow.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this cottage. It is spacious, immaculate, cozy, and perfectly located. James and Karen answered all of our questions and met us when we arrived- even though we were driving in later at night. They even had the fireplace burning when we arrived. We woke up to the most beautiful views of Loch Lomond. We did not want to leave. This is the perfect place for a family to stay. I hope to return to this cottage for a longer stay. Oh, and it has a washer and dryer!!
